I started growing edible mushrooms through my interest in gardening and background in mycology. My aim is to make exotic mushroom cultivation available to all. Mushrooms can be grown all year round indoors or enjoyed seasonally from the garden. They provide an exotic blend of flavours and textures that can also have excellent nutritional and health giving properties. Mushroom cultivation is known from the Sung Dynasty in China (960-1127AD). It is now rapidly evolving using new techniques with new species being cultivated from around the world.
I specialise in wood mushrooms and my main range is fruited on hardwood in its various forms (from toilet rolls to tree trunks!). I also have many other mushrooms and supplies sourced from around the world.

Shipping and Delivery Times
The prices cover shipping within mainland UK. Shipping to Europe and Eire will be automatically added. For deliveries to UK islands we may need to charge extra and will contact you about any additional cost. I am sorry we cannot currently supply outside Europe.
We make our spawn to order to ensure the best quality to you. We try to anticipate demand so that we can supply normally within 10 to 14 days. However if we are growing specially for you this can take 4 to 6 weeks. We try to let you know if there will be a delay. Some of our mushrooms are seasonal or best suited to plant at certain times of the year.
