Sawdust spawn is a sterilized mixture of sawdust and bran fully colonised with mushroom mycelium. Like dowel spawn it is used to inoculate logs or stumps. For quantities above about 25 one metre logs it is cheaper. We sell the recommended drill bit and inoculation tool. Inoculation can also be done using wedges or discs.
